Refresher course

This course helps Dunstan Baby Language Professionals and Dunstan Baby Language Trainers develop their knowledge and skills, ensuring they meet our standards. Take a refresher course before your certificate expires to avoid having to retake the entire training.

  • The Training

    The refresher course consists of an online section and a live lesson via Zoom.  


    After registering, you’ll get access to the online course materials. Study them and complete the listening test.  


    Successfully completing the online section is required to participate in the live lesson via Zoom.  


    During the live Zoom session, we’ll explore the material in greater depth with practical exercises and additional tips.

  • Target audience and admission

    To take the refresher course, your current certificate must still be valid! 


    You must therefore hold a valid Dunstan Baby Language Professional or Dunstan Baby Language Trainer certificate.



  • Location

    This course is delivered online via Zoom, so you can choose where you would like to join from.

  • Study commitment

    The workload for this course is 3 hours for the live Zoom session and around 2 to 5 hours of self-study.

  • What you'll need

    The refresher course is delivered online via Zoom. Ideally, you’ll attend the training on a laptop or PC, but you can also join using a tablet or phone.


    Make sure you have a quiet environment and a good internet connection.


    Please bring a pen and paper in case you’d like to take notes.

  • Certification

    After successfully completing the refresher course, your certificate will be renewed for another 3 years. You will receive an additional certificate. 


  • Accreditation

    KCKZ

    The professional associations for maternity nurses have accredited the Refresher Course with 3 points in categories C and D. 


    KNOV

    The KNOV Accreditation Committee has accredited the refresher course for 4 hours in Category A: Continuing Professional Development for the Quality Register for Midwives.


    Other accreditations are available on request.

    The refresher course costs €95,-

    Dunstan Babytaal Nederland is registered with the Central Register for Short Vocational Education. This means the course and its learning materials can be offered VAT-free.
